UNDERSTANDING TRENCHLESS SEWER TECHNOLOGY
UNDERSTANDING TRENCHLESS SEWER TECHNOLOGY
Have you ever heard of or wondered what exactly trenchless sewer technology is?
At Seattle Plumbing, Sewer, & Heating, we actually have the technology to fix your broken sewer pipes without having to dig up your entire yard. We just make a small hole to connect into your sewer pipe and then work our magic. Sewer Repair can literally cost tens-of-thousands of dollars when roots get into your old sewer pipes and create sewage backups. If you think of it like surgery, would you rather have a doctor cut a 12″ incision to perform surgery or a small 0.5″ incision and perform the same repairs with quicker recovery? Well, that’s basically what we are doing with your sewer pipes. We can dig up the entire sewer line and replace it all, or make a small hole, connect to your pipe and perform the sewer pipe repair cheaper and less-invassively as well.
Call Seattle Plumbing, Sewer, & Heating today for your trenchless sewer repair in the Seattle, WA and surrounding areas!
The trenchless sewer lateral replacement process reduces the cost of replacing a sewer pipe and installs a better product in the ground than the traditional open cut or trenching procedures. Replacing your sewer can take a toll on the exterior property of your home. Trenchless sewer repairs are designed to limit the amount of property and landscaping damage done to your home when sewer repairs are necessary. Using advanced equipment, the experienced plumbers at Seattle Plumbing, Electric, Septic, Sewer & Heating can evaluate the cause of your sewer damage and repair it with minimal damage to your property.
We dig two holes, one at the beginning and one at the end of the line, and insert a cable into the existing line. The cable is attached to our pulling equipment at one end and a steel splitting wedge at the other. The ram then pulls the splitting head through the old pipe, bursting it as it goes. The head brings the new polyethylene pipe behind it until the line is replaced. This process is low-impact, completely trenchless and generally eliminates the need for digging long and deep trenches that disturb large areas of your property.
Our mission is to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction in the plumbing industry today.
